Samsung has just increased the price of its ‘A’ series smartphone. The device in concern here is the Galaxy A52. It is a 4G smartphone that has a decent display and is priced in the mid-range segment. Samsung has increased the price of the Galaxy A52 by Rs 1,000. The changes have been made on the website of the company and are also applicable in the offline retail stores in India and Amazon. The Samsung Galaxy A52 is now Rs 1,000 more expensive in India. The price change has been implemented in both the available smartphones in the market. The Galaxy A52’s base variant with 6GB+128GB was available for Rs 26,499, but after the price hike, its new price is Rs 27,499.

Then its second variant with 8GB+128GB was available for Rs 27,999 but now it will be available for Rs 28,999. The development was first reported by MySmartPrice.

The price hike is not surprising since almost every consumer electronics company is selling its products for an increased price to recover the increased cost in manufacturing that has come because of the supply chain issues.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A52 comes with a 6.52-inch FHD+ display with support for 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. It has a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor and a 32MP selfie sensor at the front. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for up to 25W fast-charging. Other smartphone brands such as Xiaomi and Realme have also increased the price of their smartphones and that is why this change shouldn’t be surprising for anyone.
