PUBG Corporation on Tuesday released the patch notes for the latest update which the company has pushed to PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS. The trendy game, on Android and iOS, has now received the highly awaited Sanhok map. In addition to that, there are also new several customisable pick-up settings, achievements, clans, anti-cheating measures, progress missions, Royale Pass, and more. The update brings all of these new maps and features to both Android and iOS version of its game. Also, PUBG had announced that the servers of PUBG mobile would be under maintenance a few days ago. Now Tencent has confirmed that the servers are back live for PUBG mobile and now PUBG users will be able to resume their matches.
New Sanhok Map with 100 Players Per Match
The highlight of this new PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 update is the latest Sanhook map, and it will be available for download starting today, i.e. September 12. You will have to download the Sanhook map independently. The new inclusion involves latest in-game weapons and vehicles. There is a new Flare Gun, an automatic rifle called QBZ, a shotgun attachment Duckbill, a 4-seater Muscle Car, and another 4-seater Bulletproof UAZ. The Sanhok map is one-fourth the size of Erangel or Miramar. This map can feature 100 players per match.
PUBG Changelog Details
The new weapons and vehicles in PUBG include a Flare Gun which is a rare item that calls a super airdrop if used within the Playzone, and a Bulletproof UAZ if used outside the Playzone. Secondly, now there is also a QBZ, which is an automatic rifle that fires 5.56mm rounds. Has both single shot and full-auto. The Duckbill is an attachment for shotguns used to reduce the vertical spread and increases horizontal spread.
New Vehicles
The new vehicles in PUBG will include the Muscle Car which has four seats and has both a hard-top and a convertible version. Now there is also a Bulletproof UAZ with four seats. It will be obtainable using the Flare Gun outside the Playzone.
New Pick-Up Settings
The customizable pick-up settings will now include pick-up quantities that can now be specified in settings. Additionally, there are more achievements which can be found under missions. Under the new Clan Perk, the system will award a certain amount of UC for players to share it with other Clan members. You will also be able to equip new Clan titles after purchase.
Anti Cheating Measures
Like we mentioned above, PUBG mobile now also comes with Anti-Cheating Measures which involve improved recognition of cheating plug-ins, added Report buttons to Spectator Mode, Basic Information and Results.
Some more notable additions include a chance to get a mystery drop after a match under Lucky air drops, a new collect all button to collect rewards of all completed missions, new mission types to make progression more fun. The Season page has also been revamped as it now shows all seasons played and relevant data such as season titles, the highest tier reached and more.
Other Improvements
Some other improvements include the ability to delete friends in batches, the ability of add 3D models to vehicles and aeroplane finish previews in the shop, optimised animation on the Season page for certain devices, no penalisation for accidental friendly fire, tuned chat system and tuned air drops items.
It is worth noting that PUBG has become a worldwide sensation game. From the data pulled up by analytics site, App ape, it was pointed out that PUBG has crossed 3 million downloads mark in the United States, out of which 1.7 million are on Android only. As per the reports which came out last month, PUBG, in total has crossed the 100 million downloads mark across the globe.
