PUBG Releases Version 0.8.0 for Android With New Sanhok Map, Anti Cheating Measures and More

PUBG Corporation on Tuesday released the patch notes for the latest update which the company has pushed to PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS. The trendy game, on Android and iOS, has now received the highly awaited Sanhok map. In addition to that, there are also new several customisable pick-up settings, achievements, clans, anti-cheating measures, progress missions, Royale Pass, and more. The update brings all of these new maps and features to both Android and iOS version of its game. Also, PUBG had announced that the servers of PUBG mobile would be under maintenance a few days ago. Now Tencent has confirmed that the servers are back live for PUBG mobile and now PUBG users will be able to resume their matches.

New Sanhok Map with 100 Players Per Match

The highlight of this new PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 update is the latest Sanhook map, and it will be available for download starting today, i.e. September 12. You will have to download the Sanhook map independently. The new inclusion involves latest in-game weapons and vehicles. There is a new Flare Gun, an automatic rifle called QBZ, a shotgun attachment Duckbill, a 4-seater Muscle Car, and another 4-seater Bulletproof UAZ. The Sanhok map is one-fourth the size of Erangel or Miramar. This map can feature 100 players per match.

PUBG Changelog Details

The new weapons and vehicles in PUBG include a Flare Gun which is a rare item that calls a super airdrop if used within the Playzone, and a Bulletproof UAZ if used outside the Playzone. Secondly, now there is also a QBZ, which is an automatic rifle that fires 5.56mm rounds. Has both single shot and full-auto. The Duckbill is an attachment for shotguns used to reduce the vertical spread and increases horizontal spread.
