Samsung has launched its high-end Tab S3 tablet in India at a whopping price of Rs. 47,990. At an event in Bangalore, the South Korean smartphone giant has unveiled the tablet, which was earlier launched at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. The Galaxy Tab S3 will be available via both online and offline stores starting today.
Samsung is also providing some launch offers that includes a one-time screen replacement for free up to July 31. The company has collaborated with the Telecom operator Reliance Jio and is offering double data offer with the recharge of Rs. 309. So, users whoever purchases the Galaxy Tab S3 will get an additional 28GB of data, from the usual 28GB data.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is the successor to last year's Galaxy Tab S2 featuring high-end hardware. Probably, it's the powerful tablet right now in the market. The tablet flaunts a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with HDR support and a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 4:3.
The South Korean company is betting big on the multimedia department of the speaker as the Tab S3 comes with quad stereo loudspeaker setup. The speakers are powered by AKG/HARMAN for better sound output.
The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It comes laden with Android 7.0 Nougat based on TouchWiz skin. The storage is expandable up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card slot.
Having said that, there's a massive battery of 6000mAh, which is rated to deliver three days of battery life with moderate use. Samsung has also added fast charging support for the phone.
Connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a fingerprint scanner integrated into its home button.
Lastly, coming to the camera department, the Tab S3 has a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9, autofocus, and LED flash. There's a 5MP front-facing flash as well with 5MP, and f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera is capable of recording 2160p videos, while the front-facing camera can handle videos of 1080p quality.
