Motorola Moto X will get Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in India next week

Motorola was one of the first brands to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop to most of its smartphone lineup. It has also been soak-testing Android 5.1.1 firmwares for the Moto X (2013). Now, its time for it to roll out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the latest public build of Android to its devices.

David Schuster from Motorola has announced that they will release Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Moto X, both 1st Gen and 2nd Gen next week. Along with India, the update will also be released in a bunch of other countries including Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and United Arab Emirates for the Moto X (1st Gen).

Schuster has also confirmed that it will release Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to the Moto X (2nd Gen) in Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Malaysia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Australia, and Sweden.
