OnePlus officially entered the Indian smartphone market when it launched its first smartphone in the country. The OnePlus One was launched yesterday exclusively through Amazon with a price tag of Rs. 21,999, but following its fallout with Cyanogen Inc., many consumers in India were confused about future software updates in India. But shortly after the official launch event of the OnePlus One, the company has answered some of the important questions in its forums, which were lingering in the minds of Indian consumers.

- India-specific invites are necessary to buy the OnePlus One in India through Amazon.

- Cyanogen has pulled off software support for OnePlus One users in India. The company still doesn’t know how Cyanogen plans to identify Indian users so that they can block the updates from their devices.

- The company will offer software support to OnePlus One for 2 years starting from the date it releases the final version of its own ROM.
