Xolo, which has emerged as a popular brand for budget devices off late has just launched a budget smartphone named Xolo A510S as a successor to the Xolo A500S for Rs 7,499. It brings a decent upgrade over the predecessor. Let us take a look at its specifications:

    @Upesh sir,
    My brother purchased xolo q2000 on 10th feb ’14.
    Since last 1.5month no problem, n it works so smooth.
    He purchased it from ebay.com @13500; and save 4000rs.

    I m using Spice IVORY flow mi 450 since sep ’13, it also working fine.
    Yes few days back its headphone n charger had some problem, but Spice service center people relpaced those with new headset n charger as it was in warranty.Without any arguement, rather they behaved quite friendly with me.
    So my personal experience with local company is good.

    N micromax: 6100 cr income in 2013-14 . Many of my friends use MMX, carbon,Lava, n videocon mobile. All are satisfied.

    What about it’s worst after sales service ?

    *Its definitely a good device for the price being asked and only the battery is a bit small.The metallic finish is definitely gonna add value to the budget smartphone.

    *Its more or less a sucessor to the previously launched A500s

    *The best part is 1GB of ram which means Jelly Bean should work smoothly.Much better than some intex or micromax devices which try to run jelly bean on 256mb or 512mb of RAM.

    *within a few months xolo is gonna launch similar devices but with Windows Phone 8.1 and Qualcomm Snapdargon 200 on board instead of Android and Mediatek.The price may be a bit higher or may be the same if microsoft also pays xolo O.S support like how it paid Nokia.I personally think that Xolo and Karbonn might after all recieve some kind of O.S support from microsoft otherwise how will these local manufacturers manage and give a device at 6.5k with a Snapdragon processor.The possibility of meditaek processor is ruled out because they do not support windows phone.Either these local manufacturers will get support from microsoft to create decent devices at 6.5k or they would have to compromise on quality as such.With the Nokia Microsoft deal almost closing at April,branded manufacturers like Samsung and huawei are now not gonna take up windows phone because nokia-microsoft deal posses a similar kind of situation like the google-motorola deal.With branded manufacturers out ,microsoft has only local manufacturers to look upto,whats worse is that even these local manufacturers will not open up to windows phone unless and until some perks and carrots are thrown at them.

    *Exemption from license fee is already one such perk microsoft has given these local manufacturers,now it remains to be seen what else will be given.

    *The recent success of Nokia X tells another story altogether.The Nokia X already has 1 million pre-orders in China and is also being supported by our own Bharti Airtel across Africa and Middle East.The Nokia X comes with forked Android and despite all this its seeing success.The best part is that even though Nokia X runs on Android its finally Microsoft which is being benefitted because in case of Nokia X after all Microsoft services/apps are pre-installed.

    Very good spec for Xolo A510S. Battery of 2100 mah capacity would have made it a very satisfying.
