  • Samba November 21, 2011 12:27 pm

useless! Tariffs are very expensive themselves! I mean it breaks one’s heart to have Basanti (read Vodafone 3G) screaming at her own prices, which doesn’t raises cocks! Poor Basanti of Vodafone 3G!

    deepshan :
I have recently brought vf data card from vf shop. and i recharged Rs. 98 for 2G plan, at the same time i want to use video calling ( if required) so that i activated 3G services. After that i shocked i had around 400Rs balance in my mail account, it came to -57Rs. I was browsing in 2G connection only (not in 3G). After that i had checked my 2G Gprs balance it’s showing you are not subscribed to any GPRS plan. What happened My 2G recharge balance??????????? Customer care told if 3G is enabled we will deactivated your 2G services that is the reason thery charged you…
I never find such kind of terms and conditions from vodafone website or somewhere else. How can they deactivate one connection without any notice.. TROI need to look into this issue and resolve it ASAP.

the same thing happend to me.i was so angry that i stoped using vodafone.even idea has the same story.whereas operators like bsnl docomo airtel alowing 2g data on 3g mode but caped speed.

  • Mohit September 29, 2011 3:38 pm

This particular link you all have mentioned has already been undertaken by me and i have asked for a solution from VODAFONE, as you requested i have again posted my NO. so lets see what in the hell efforts do you make to keep up the standards and prove me wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully i guess that would not happen and there wold be no solution to it and I will surely enjoy the sucking and laggy VODAFONE service @Vodafone India

Guys………….. The internet on vodafone really is bad on connection and also damn slow, even after complaining for more than 15 times they are unable to solve the issue, firstly the connection that is used would not connect and being a postpaid consumer and the importance of the number for the business couldnt change the no. and select other service provider and even porting out is not on card cause don know how will they heck up while the process and would certainly create a run here there situation so still using the same laggy connections, EDGE is slow but how they want the user to believe on their services after paying the huge amounts for 3g speeds and again facing the same problems…………… I would surely recommend others to try DOCOMO as they have faster internet speed and offer almost 3g kinda speed on 2g charges juz wonder what would be the speed of their 3g then, and VODAFONE surely makes a statement WHERE EVER YOU GO WE FOLLOW meaning actually is that they would heck you up all the problems and would not bail you and follow with the sickness of their services

  • rajesh September 27, 2011 4:32 pm

    Dear Sir/Mam,
Unfortunately, I had purchased the vodafone Data Card (Sim No.9899170026) in Dec-2010, with unlimited usage plan of Rs.(499+10.3% service tax) monthly. But I was not satisfied with the speed of internet as per committed speed by you and I changed the usage plan to 3G (Rs. 375/- and 512 MB usage) in May 2011 in Vodafone customer care dept.(Okhla) as suggested by Ms.Sanjana (Executive) in June 2011,and I had clearly mentioned that I want the monthly bill not more than Rs. 650/- but I had received the Bill amount of Rs.9000,instead of getting Bill of
    (Rs.375+ 10.3%) only.

I visited your customer care dept.(Okhla) more than 3 times, I was told by executive that I had received the fake bill. And now my connection was disconnected by vodafone from June 2011.

The Vodafone executives, TLs and their manager are regularly calling me to pay the bill.I had told more than 100 times the whole story, but no one is given me the JUSTIFIED BILLS, and solving my problem and calling me again and again.

Sorry to say you that most of the Vodafone Executives are Illiterate,Untrained,Unprofessional employees.

Please sort out my problem as I am not going to pay unjustified bill.

vodafone sold me a 3g enabled Data usb stick last november at Rs 6999 plus tax, with the promise that when 3g is launched this year, I will be able to use 3g unlimited upto 1 year. Their senior sales employee Arijit Thakur lied to me because when 3g was launched in april, they told me I have to subscribe to 3G plans at extra charges. I told them why would I pay an amount of Rs 7700 for 1 year in advance to avail of dial up speeds, to which they have no answer. They must have sold this to many other unsuspecting customers too, and this reflects their culture. Please beware of this company

    Shiv Mohan :
Vodafone 3G plan is very high rate

Now a days, the service providers, revise their tariffs every now and then (jocularly we can say 2-3 times in a day…ah). So do not dig out the grave. Visit their web sites or call their customer care (And be ready to dole out 50 paise for a 3 min call)..!!

  • deepak kumar August 1, 2011 10:56 am

its too expensive. Hope prices will reduce in future.

  • Subhadip Biswas July 29, 2011 8:34 am

A lot of us out here have got 3G data cards, even before vodafone officially declared 3G tariffs in our city, just basing and believing on the company’s credibility, and we were assured that there will be unlimited tariff for the 3G plan as well..(of-course
)with the information that it would be more expensive than the present unlimited 2G tariff.. but no one ever mentioned anything about data charges.
I request the company to kindly review this provide us with a 3G plan(unlimited and no data restrictions with downloads) tariff increase the prices if u have to as it was committed, and we customers shall also hold our share of the bargain..
This will surely get your company more business and surely a lasting one too.
    KINDLY CONSIDER>>

  • ASHFAQUE July 29, 2011 2:24 am

This is 2much expensive plans, we all Indians hav 2 think about cost cutting where all the prices of essential items R touching sky and our income coming down. So 3G plans are not 4 “AAM AADMI”. Think about savings….

  • Dumbthought July 19, 2011 3:29 pm

in terms of network quality and customer care Vodafone 5 step ahead from all other operators,
3g tariff is bit high from bsnl but speed, quality of network, reliability and quick customer care always matter so vodafone is best go for it

  • PD April 12, 2011 5:48 pm

The outcry on your pricing is getting louder and louder…. Reduce the same and and thus u can gain. Anyway u have to keep the system and maintain too ! For its optimal use, reduce (especially video call rate)and get maximum out of it. (Applicable other operators too !!)

    Anyway subscribers now have choice…

  • Tushar Gaikwad April 12, 2011 9:19 am

I use BSNL 3g as it is cheap and has the best 3G coverage…..Apart from some minor issues, it is the “truly best” operator.
Vodafone is just hype and it works due to its advertising.
Vodafone could have made a difference by having lower 3G video call tariff (3ps/sec).
    Video call at 70ps/minute with BSNL..amazing :)
I m extremely happy with BSNL and its 3G and would never ever switch to any other “loot network”.

EVDO(CDMA) from TATA indicom, RIM, and MTS are still much better than GSM 3G plans except MTNL & BSNL. So, undoubtedly TATA photon+, Reliance netconnect and MTS mblaze are much better options with better coverage ( around 750 cities are currently being covered by tata photon+).

    yes…u r correct….in gsm bsnl & in cdma MTS……is the proper choice…

But speed is limited to less than 1.5 mbps where 3G will easily give more than 2 mbps speed.
Till now EVDO is giving compition to 3G only in terms of tarriff.

  • Deependra Solanky April 11, 2011 11:05 pm

500 combo plan looks good. Airtel is not having any combo plan like this. Time to use MNP….

  • Keshav Jha April 11, 2011 11:00 pm

What a scenario!!! Same circle, same spectrum fee, MTNL charges 20p/min but pvt operators charge rs 3/min for video call. Lootna nahin to aur kya hai??? Quality ke naam pe itna difference kya aa sakta hai??????????

  • Raghu April 11, 2011 10:57 pm

    bad offer by costly operator

  • Upen April 11, 2011 10:51 pm

    @SOURAV CHATTEJEE
in compare to which operator, plz clarify ur statement. It is still costly than docomo. Docomo is providing cheaper 3g data plan after bsnl in comparison to any pvt operator.

  • Akash April 11, 2011 10:44 pm

Very reasonable plans and speed is also good in Pune

  • selvam April 11, 2011 10:34 pm

@bilal kagdi they are not worrying about.. the customers growing ..not increasing media strength ..i think..am i correct

  • selvam April 11, 2011 10:31 pm

@raghav yes Ragu u r correct..always voda is costly..there is persons in Q to appreciate it..so they are demanding

  • Ram April 11, 2011 10:00 pm

    What about voice plan.
If the 2G number changed to 3G, the voice plant tariff will change or it will remain same.

  • rajiev April 11, 2011 9:40 pm

wait n watch, sensex will drop soon

  • rajiev April 11, 2011 9:38 pm

same as other plan , we hope best plan , coming soon

  • rajiev April 11, 2011 9:37 pm

what about speed of 3g, can we compare airtel and vodafone

  • bhavin April 11, 2011 9:13 pm

according to service, price are perfect.
definitely very good in mumbai circle, where airtel/reliance/mtnl network sucks, while all of them providing same 3g tariff. i so damm feel to port to vodafone.

  • akhilesh April 11, 2011 8:59 pm

no use of 3G reason Highest Prize

Rim Broadband +(EVDO) now giving 1000rs/10gb(prepaid)
    Speed is allready Good
all pvt opraters need 3G data Plan’s max 1000rs per 10gb (like bsnl 1102rs/10gb)
Its Markting ….Low Cost teriff =more user=more earing (bsnl following this)
10 gb is minimum requirment for normal home internet daily user

i will use other 3G..but after teriff will come down.

  • Gourav April 11, 2011 8:51 pm

    very costly plans.

  • ashR April 11, 2011 8:35 pm

    better than Airtel………

  • Mane April 11, 2011 8:28 pm

all pvt. Operator charging 5/sec for vdo call and data plans are also same. I think this base tariff of them like 2g where base charges r rs 1 and rs 1.50 for locanl and std.
I think In future, companies will not bring down their base tariff but they can reduce video call rates with monthly or weekly tariff plans.

  • tejas April 11, 2011 8:23 pm

they were giving ads in local newspaper for the 3g stick saying 5gb free with 301 rs. recharge. but now after 3g launch the plans seems to have changed completely.

  • Steve April 11, 2011 8:22 pm

    Aur chahiye vodapaw…..ohh vodafone
what great can you expect from this companies
My First And Last BSNL best hai mere liye

  • bimal singh April 11, 2011 8:17 pm

its too much costly than the other network

  • lovable April 11, 2011 8:08 pm

or lo ponafone… oops i mean vodkaafone

  • Abhijit April 11, 2011 7:52 pm

BSNL 3G is only operator that is best at current stage..

  • Gappu Ustad April 11, 2011 7:52 pm

tooo much costly……. BSNL is best.
tym to change the operator to BSNL…

  • Arun April 11, 2011 7:44 pm

Here comes another piece of crap.

  • pratik April 11, 2011 7:41 pm

if i do not activate any 3g plan by sending act 3g will i be able to access 3g network to make video calls because now after deactivating trial offer ,i am not getting access to 3g network

  • Abhay April 11, 2011 7:31 pm

All the operators are more or less same in respect to the pricing of the plans except few minor differences. But no one can just beat BSNL3G in terms of data plans. Moreover, EVDO of MTS will continue to lead the market with all India roaming (which is missing from GSM player with 3G license in limited circles except BSNL /MTNL).

  • SOURAV CHATTEJEE April 11, 2011 7:27 pm

missing minutes based packs from vodafone too…..

  • SOURAV CHATTEJEE April 11, 2011 7:26 pm

good plans as compared to other private operaters……..

anyways bsnl and mtnl rocks in govt owned operaters

  • Attah Sayed April 11, 2011 7:24 pm

They should have had a 250MB plan for around 200bucks p.m like all other operators !!!

  • PD April 11, 2011 7:11 pm

ha….ha…. video call Rs.3/- per min. Definitely there will be hardly anybody will use video call. These pvt operators think seriously now.

  • Amit.G April 11, 2011 7:09 pm

    costly

  • Bhanu Sharma April 11, 2011 7:07 pm

    Bakwas hai yaar
itna costly ke liye kiska dimaag kharab hai……..

  • bilal kagdi April 11, 2011 7:00 pm

No one can match the level of bsnl 3g.
Vodafone 3g network is almost zero in pund.

  • RSE April 11, 2011 6:59 pm

Advanced Rental Plan is good compared to other plans.

  • Prithvi April 11, 2011 6:51 pm

    Unlimited Data and combo plans?

  • raghav April 11, 2011 6:44 pm

very costly, but still better than the f***ked up airtel and tata docomo & the chor rcom. vodafone plans useful only for rich people, not middle class people.

  • ABHINAV April 11, 2011 6:43 pm

same as other operators………..waste of money
