Videocon, the GSM Mobile Service of Videocon Telecommunications Ltd recently announced the commercial launch of its services in the Coimbatore in Tamilnadu circle as earlier we shared on Telecom Talk.It is expected that the company will roll out full-fledged GSM services across the Chennai and Tamilnadu telecom circle by 25 March 2010. And they are also targeting to launch in 100 cities in next 100 days, a fast launching is on schedule.
Videocon has come with a wide range of Value Added Services including Caller Tunes, Sports, VRashi(Horoscope), News and Entertainment. A lot of new exciting services are going to be in the list to rock!Videocon has also started GPRS services, which is free for couple of days . Videocon has also joined the 3G auction (except Mumbai and Delhi circle), may get licenses in some circles to offer faster internet on the go.

I think it is same copy of Airtel VAS Services including charges.
At least VAS charges should be low.

Yawn. Dhoot knows this will go nowhere until he gets his paws on some 3G Spectrum. DoCoMo was late to the party as well but atleast they shook things up with some innovative billing and offers.

IF VIDEOCON WANTS TO CUT THE SHARE OF OTHERS IT SHOULD OFFER A IRRESTIBLE TARIFF THAN ITS COMPETITORS PLUS BEST NETWORK QUALITY. OF LATE BEST TARIFF AND NETWORK ON-NET OR OFF NET IS BY MTS EXCEPT TATA INDICOM “PAY PER CALL PLAN”, WHICH IS RS. 1.00 PER TEN MINUTES TO ANY NETWORK WITH RS.1.00 DAILY RENTAL. ALL OTHERS ARE COSTLIER THAN THESE AND ALSO BOTH NETWORKS ARE GOOD.
