India’s first 3G Mobile service operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), today announced the launch of 5 new 3G Data Recharges for its prepaid subscribers in Delhi telecom circle.
MTNL Delhi today introduced 5 new 3G Plan at Rs 41, Rs 499, Rs 950 and Rs 1199 which provides 300 MB, 25 GB, 50 GB and 6 GB data cap respectively.
Presently only MTNL provides 3G service in Delhi circle and it seems that the company doesn’t see any competitions on the 3G data segments because in terms of Validity the new 3G recharges by MTNL are not so attractive comparing to 3G offerings by another PSU and 3G operator BSNL.

Reliance Netconnect+ is also charging Rs. 700 for 1 GB. How it is different from Tata?
Sanjay Bafna November 25, 2010 at 3:11 pm

@pankaj
mr.madan – what happened to your source? tata tele is nothing but another cheater in disguise. it is no better than a vodafone or reliance or for that matter even airtel or idea.
everybody in telecom industry know the cost of wireless broadband is appx rs.10 per GB but even then these fraud people (tata tele, rcom and others) charge rs.700 per GB.
only ril/infotel will and can bring wireless broadband revolution in india for the masses at affordable rates. wait for another year and they will change the digital landscape of india!

Bakwas Plans…….
pankaj October 27, 2010 at 1:56 pm
i also agree… the above kinda plans would be perfect and fair. but don’t think tata docomo are in anyway going to price 3G data that ways mentioned by you.
see tata’s paradox of evdo prices – the frc gives 4Gb for rs.300 but tata later charges rs.1000 for the same 4-5Gb download. when they can afford to give 4Gb for rs.300 for the frc why not later. so no tata docomo is never going to come up with fair kinda of data offers.
trust only bsnl to provide competitive and excellent 3G data plans.

I think MTNL Delhi planned these offers for wired Broadband but mistakenly approved for 3G data. Need to recheck these plans. Now they really need help of BSNL team to bring better 3G data plans & 1st explain them what is 3G data speed.
Keshav Jha October 27, 2010 at 9:32 am
Validity of plans are very bad. Plan 1199 is a little good but it’s price should be less than rs 900, then it will be useful and hit plan. Currently all are useless plans.
kuttu October 27, 2010 at 4:44 am
no guys mtnl is sleeping in festival holiday
Debjyoti October 27, 2010 at 3:39 am
bsnl is leading
karann October 26, 2010 at 10:48 pm
What a plans, mtnl will be number 1 operator in 3g and will beat bsnl in their 3g plans bec in 1199 6gb is a great plan with 90 days validity
ravi October 26, 2010 at 9:06 pm
really good plans …hope they would provide good speed too.
sachin October 26, 2010 at 8:18 pm
BSNL offers 3G umlimited no FUP for rs.700/month.
MTNL still seems to be joking or sleeping to market needs.
lee October 26, 2010 at 7:24 pm
@sanjay kumar
mtnl truely made for d METRO’S. . .
lee October 26, 2010 at 7:21 pm
MTNL’s are making sure that no body uses their sky-rocket-prized-productz. . .
max October 26, 2010 at 7:05 pm
90days validity plan is good
sanjay kumar October 26, 2010 at 6:56 pm
its unbelievable that mtnl can even come up the above stupid plan!
i’m ready to buy mtnl 3G service – 3G 499 (25GB data usage) if the validity is increased from 30 days instead of 7 days. if this is done it will become a great offer and useful one which majority of real 3G customers will need and use!
TD October 26, 2010 at 6:13 pm
Faltoo plan…. Validity should be minimum of 30 days…
sathish October 26, 2010 at 5:13 pm
100% MTNL network Live in Big Metro Cities, But 90% of BSNL avail in Non Metros, Tier-II Cities, towns, villages, Rural Areas.

bakvas plan hai, isse mtnl ki soch ka chalta hai. ghatiya compani ghatiya plan
Siraj Ahmad October 26, 2010 at 4:51 pm
wow wow
what a bakwas offer, why MTNL Pay Salaries to those jokers, they are good for nothing
Webly October 26, 2010 at 4:36 pm
Too expensive from MTNL……
Bsnl’s plan of 700/month is cheaper and affordable.
Manoj Thakur October 26, 2010 at 4:33 pm
MTNL guys what are u doing, take lesson from BSNL. BSNL 3G is cheapest.
Indian October 26, 2010 at 4:24 pm
Bakwas plan hai….BSNL 3G is anytime better than MTNL 3G
Paritosh October 26, 2010 at 4:18 pm
Competition or not atleast MTNL should be logical about their plans. Totally useless.
MaNoJ October 26, 2010 at 4:03 pm
LOL!!
Kaushik October 26, 2010 at 3:57 pm
there will be lots of plans like this one when private operators launch of their 3G services..
@madan
whom are you working for?? LOL!!
Shivam October 26, 2010 at 3:50 pm
@madan, its still expensive buddy. Considering the data requirements in a HSDPA network, 50 GBs are definitely not enough for a whole month. Full utilization of 3G can be made only in unlimited plan.
madan October 26, 2010 at 3:39 pm
mtnl 3G marketing team are full of jokers i guess. how can they even come up with such kiddish and stupid plans!
it should have been like this instead:
rs.40 – 1GB/15 days
rs.99 – 3GB/30 days
rs.199 – 8GB/30 days
rs.499 – 25GB/30 days
rs.950 – 50GB/30 days
my guess is tata docomo 3G would be coming up with similar above mentioned plan. that’s what i’ve heard from a source.
santu October 26, 2010 at 3:37 pm
Bsnl seems to be more serious in their 3g business.
madhu prasad October 26, 2010 at 3:37 pm
25 GB for Rs 499 OK but only 7 days validity. Which means for a monthy you need to spend 499×4 1996 for month. LOL
Shivam October 26, 2010 at 3:26 pm
Nah, 6 GB for 1199 with 90 days validity. lol, what a plan!
Shivam October 26, 2010 at 3:25 pm
Lol, babyish plans!! Who on the earth will go for these highly expensive plans when BSNL is providing better plans in extremely cheap rates!! May be thats why MTNL is making losses.
santu October 26, 2010 at 3:24 pm
Costlier than BSNL.
Muthu October 26, 2010 at 3:17 pm
isnt 60 GB for rs 1199 ?
