Bsnl is clearly the winner in loosing customers and nobody can beat them except Reliance Gsm. One is a shit and another sucks.

Videocon provides 50 hours(3000 minutes) of local calls to any network and Rs.50 TT on Rs.395 recharge for 30 days in Kerala circle. That means effective call rate is 11.5ps/minute. They are also providing Rs.105 TT on recharge with Rs.65.Is there anything comparable with these offers?

Buddy you know what yest even supreme court judges felt tat CAG report is baseless. All telecom compaines including Aircel,Idea Uninor defended in supreme court for 1 whole day.
They just asked few questions
1.2G policy of serving first come first basis was set up by NDA led govt and even UPA followed the same policy,
2. Though PM had asked Raja to revise rates but in the previous meeting PM had told tat pricing should be low so tat New operators can offer cheaper call rates for betterment of subscribers
3. CAG report compares pricing of 2G spectrum with 3G spectrum which is totally meaningless as 3G has 5times more capacity then 2G.
I agree that game has been played and raja got bribe but it has not caused 1.76lakh crore loss t Govt but some few hunered crores, even mr sibal has told the same.
Remenber. now we are enjoying 30p/min calls because new players got spectrum at cheaper price. Think over it. For news refer The Hindu

@Amit.G your friend is thinking that he is wkg in clever’s co.but wishes to work in BSNL ..he can not.. either he should be meritorious or he should know something to enter in.. as HUWAI company entered ..its products only can b sold in BSNL…tortise will lastlong …with goodwill of PUBLIC..time will show true face of others( PVT operators )as they wat they hav done in 2G dealing..U guys not yet realised wat was happened in 2G our money in crores looted by them still u are backing PVT cos for freebiees for some rs given by them wat s the diff between u AND RAJA
PD March 10, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Earlier, big brothers were able to ‘have the cake and ate it too’ mainly because the oven was a free for any tom-dick and harry, of course for a price ! But now the scenario is apparently different (….?….) and nobody wants to take chance ! So they are bullying their upcoming brethren with predatory tactics. That is why, this selective and individual offers for those who seek MNP route ! Tread cautiously and be alert always !
Amit.G March 10, 2011 at 3:31 pm
Tat fool is like a tortise thinking tat he is smart than everybody. my friend works for HUAWEI n is under BSNL project. according to him bsnl is the worst operator controlled by fools. work which gets completed in 1 day by private operators takes 2months in bsnl. bsnl ppl always make delay in passing files.
so i guess now mr outadated got the answer.
Vishwas March 10, 2011 at 3:02 pm
ha ha ha. He is really outdated person. Oye BSNL is not cheap at all (except 1 or 2 Packs that too not worth for the speed up-to 3.6Mbps). Just compare BSNL with Docomo Tariffs. Airtel might be li’ll cheaper in the future. But BSNL is worst here. Personally I don,t like BSNL becoz It has not expanded 3G coverage areas in Karnataka where as other operators are rolling out very quickly. Docomo has better coverage than BSNL(in Karnataka). And call tariffs of BSNL is also not better.
Mahesh March 10, 2011 at 2:27 pm
Even if we provide the correct UPC after the 90 days of activation still they are rejecting the port out request.

dskushwaha March 10, 2011 at 8:28 am
In J&K you can’t send SMS to 1900, You should make a call to 1900 to get UPC.
selvam March 10, 2011 at 12:17 am
@Nikhil

Naveed March 9, 2011 at 10:34 pm

PD March 9, 2011 at 6:42 pm
Better u start with abc.. Nice u understood in the end….!
sAm March 9, 2011 at 6:34 pm
@PD
Rightly said guys..Same prob here in Kolkata circle with Airtel.1st of all they are charging Re1 each time I sms to know my UPC and was not giving me.After 10-12 times I received the same but later they rejected saying UPC MISMATCH.
Whatever u r suggesting guys,its absolutely ri8.In addition the recepient operator should be given the charge to handle port out requests in order to gain fairness.
Hope TRAI is looking after this..At least closely monitor the services of Airtel,Vodafone and Idea in all the circles.
xyz March 9, 2011 at 6:33 pm
ppl having lot of issues..no one is happy neither with MNP nor with 3G,but styl can see ppl struggling witl al this:(((

PD March 9, 2011 at 6:18 pm

Rajive Borde March 9, 2011 at 6:14 pm
lol, over-smart people like you who doesn’t know fact behind bsnl sms pack or 3g pricing commenting like that just misguiding the people on bsnl
Amit.G March 9, 2011 at 6:01 pm
@Rajive Borde
I guess u as a person itself is outdated, First off all their is no point of bringing uninor into picture as i commented on BSNL and im not any fan of Uninor. so dont behave like stupidly thanks
Mamun March 9, 2011 at 6:01 pm
If you want your number to be ported then don’t activate call divert in any cases otherwise new operator can’t activate portion successfully. It’s my experience.
Rajive Borde March 9, 2011 at 5:46 pm
all current SMS pack in bsnl karnataka withdrawn just to implement 100 sms/day cap not for permanent as u think,bsnl 3G price is still cheapest with wide or pan India coverage from all other operators.
no one go for bcoz uninor is just outdated 2g operator
PD March 9, 2011 at 5:43 pm
@Raghu
yes..
rajiev March 9, 2011 at 5:41 pm
@vidyut
u r lucky , atleast u get ur porting number , i m still waitin for my porting number from reliance cdma , delhi
dskushwaha March 9, 2011 at 5:37 pm
My advise to MNP users: before you port in to a new network use a trial connection of that operator (By taking a new connection of that operator, as these days it is not very expensive). Use it at the places you visit often. Subscribe the GPRS SMS pack etc. If satisfied, then only port in to that network. May be the new network is even worse than the network you are currently using. In that case you will get stuck with the new operator for 3 months.
Raghu March 9, 2011 at 5:29 pm
@PD
agree with you the lock-in period should be maximum 45 days-60 days ans not 90 days is little too mcuh i think. these teething things do happen but hope the problem gets solved soon
Amit.G March 9, 2011 at 5:28 pm
In karnataka, BSNL withdraw all its sms packs including newly launched 111.. my friend who ported from vodafone to BSNL waited for 1 month as BSNL offered him 2000 free sms for 1st month & later when he went to recharge the pack was withdrawn, now no use of staying with BSNL as it has hiked 3G prices also
PD March 9, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Not only Idea, even Vodafone too does the same in MUMBAI. Even after successfully porting the i/c & o/g calls are barred on flimsy reasons. Something like – “PI date confirm” “signature proof”, etc. And the subscribers being asked to submit documents, again and again. Interestingly all those opted for MNP route were very well in the rolls/systems of their erstwhile operators !
Harassing the subscribers this way seems to be an orchestrated plan ! Therefore the lock-in period should be reduced from 90 days to 30 days and max. 60 days.
Also a successful PORTING in should allowed only after completing successful verification to the receiving operators hearts’ content !.
Sougata Das March 9, 2011 at 4:40 pm
I am in a process of changing my operator from Uninor to Vodafone in Kolkata…lets hope everything goes smooth..
rajiev March 9, 2011 at 4:39 pm
plz update complete , soon
AD March 9, 2011 at 4:30 pm
in karnataka majority of people from Airtel and BSNL opted for MNP.
vidyut March 9, 2011 at 4:22 pm
IF TRAI is monitoring then Plz read my this cooment.Some operators are rejecting porting request without any valid reason.They only say that code doesnot match.My self this type of experience with Idea.I know that i have filled correct code,but Idea rejected my request first time, but i did it agin and ported my no from idea.So TRAI Plz pay attention to this kind of trick operator are using.
rohit March 9, 2011 at 4:15 pm
