yeah khachchar is true….. I also face the same problem when I travel by train through that area. In the sealdah division it also happens between kakinara and jagaddal. there is a problem in switching .

No network coverage in most areas of Mankundu,dist hooghly for BSNL. even cannot check balance!!friends call and find phone switched off even when it is on!! we met with several officers but all of them replied same that there don’t need any tower & signal is first class & its coming from chandannagar main tower situated 5 kms from here. Shame shame.Shitty service.

BSNL ka crystal clear network desh ke kone kone mein majood hai.Ishiliye aaj BSNL ke saath Hindustan bol raha hai…Calcutta Telephones is a sleeping giant and unless and until the customers are behind them they would not pull up their socks..Still BSNL rocks

Kolkata Telecom should come out with tariff plan which is better than Reliance Simply Reliance Plan and delight the customers who are waiting for something special from BSNL.

Calcutta Telephones is one among the best circles in terms of BB service.They need to introduce one thing – bill payment through credit card.Till now only through net banking and that too of a few selected banks.
