Pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today launched new real time Push Mail & PIM Sync services for its mobile (2G and 3G) subscribers association with Bharat Berry.
The low cost Bharat Berry real time Push Mail Service is similar to the most popular BlackBerry Service. Bharat Berry servers are in India and follows all the regulatory and compliance norms of Indian government to providers secured email services to customers.
Based on push-mail technology, the services is not dependent on mobile handsets and manufacturer, hence it easily works on low-cost handsets same as smartphones.
BharatBerry the subscription based services with includes the push emails and personal information manager (PIM) sync is offered at Rs.50 each on a monthly basis. Also a combo pack which includes the both services is available at Rs.80 per month. Initially, as a promotional offer (till 14 December 2011) the company offers this service FREE for one months, before starting to charge users.
To subscribe the service, BSNL customers have to send an SMS as ‘SUB BB’ to 5112300.

those blackberry handset owners who had purchased it just for show and were not using the costly blackberry network services can now activate bharat berry on their blackberry….hehehe

Bharat Berry Push Mail application for Nokia S40 device is NOT AVAILABLE the same will not work in low-cost hand sets !!!

Bharat Berry is similar to Blackberry servcie where you would be able to access your Offical Mail( Outlook & Lotus) on non blackberry handsets sets even at quite less traffic.

there are two services here.one is at Rs 50 and another at Rs 80. so if we send the SMS which one they will activate the Rs 50 one or the Rs 80 one. that is not clear.please clarify.
