Vodafone India has successfully rolled out 4G in 14th town in Kerala, by launching 4G service in Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala. As a bonus, the customers will also get special offers from 6 January 2016.
Built on 1800MHz band, Vodafone 4G offers the customers fast download and upload, seamless video chats, HD video streaming, fast mobile gaming and smooth two-way video calling. Different range of recharge packs are available for 4G, from a trial pack of 120MB at Rs. 29 to a bonanza pack of 20GB at Rs. 2499.
The upgrade to 4G SIM is free for all Vodafone customers and 4G SIM too will be offered. The customers can visit Vodafone stores and selected retail outlets to get an instant SIM swap. People can also request 4G SIM through call centre and SMS <4G SIM> to 199.
The special offers for the occasion include free unlimited movie subscription for three months (which means an unlimited access to 7500+ titles including 200+ Malayalam movies), free unlimited music streaming on Vodafone Music and extra data for all 4G RED customers for three months. The customers in Kerala are now offered international roaming on 4G to UK, Germany, Spain and Netherlands.

Vodafone has already launched 4G across Kochi, Maradu, Thripunithura, Vazhakkala, Kalamassery, Kakkanad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kazhakootam, Kovalam, Vizhinjam, Kozhikode, Cheruvannoor, Pantheeramkavu and Olavanna, in Kerala. Over the last 18 months, the company has invested more than Rs. 700 crores in Kerala towards network expansion and modernization to build a technology and energy efficient network architecture.
