Vodafone-IndiaVodafone has introduced an online store for its UK customers, where the customers can sell their barely-used phones and tablets to the network within the first 14 days of purchase. Dubbed as Vodafone Outlet, this allows the customers to check if the phone suits their requisites and return, if not. The hefty discounts make this resale offer attractive.
The second-hand smartphones are checked for their reliability. “They go through a strict series of checks and tests at our warehouse, and those that are in good enough condition are repackaged and head on to Vodafone Outlet,” Vodafone E-commerce Specialist Ben Carr assured. The devices come with the accessories including headphones, charging cables and manuals. Moreover, same warranty is provided as with new devices.

“Because of the nature of how this works, the device range will change quite often. Some of the offers will be very limited, to the point where sometimes we’ll only have 40 or 50 devices. Just because something was there yesterday, it doesn't necessarily mean it’ll be there today,” added Carr.

Vodafone Outlet is also a way for the provider to sell the discontinued smartphones. When a company discontinue a model of phone, the warehouse will still carry 40-50 phones of the range. These will be sold through the online outlet.
