Vodafone has now launched a new roaming pack in the Tamil Nadu circle for those who travel frequently in the southern part of India.

The new roaming pack is priced at Rs. 57, which enables Vodafone users in Tamil Nadu and Chennai to make calls at cheaper rates. Users who use this pack can make calls at just 1ps/sec tariff, while all the incoming calls would be free of cost.

Aircel is already providing Roaming Like Home in southern part of the country, which helped the operator in binding it users, but now its seems that Vodafone is getting quite aggressive to gain customers in the market with this kind of value proposition.

In September 2015, Aircel lost more than 10 lakh subscribers in the Tamil Nadu circle while Vodafone added 1.3 lakh users due to their data products and a better network.
