Vodafone India has started offering a Rs 119 prepaid plan to its prepaid customers in various circles. The Rs 119 prepaid recharge is valid only to select users at the moment, but it's expected to be available as an open market plan in the coming days. Remember the Rs 169 prepaid plan which Vodafone introduced recently? Well, the Rs 119 recharge offers similar benefits of unlimited calling and 1GB of data, but it doesn't ship with SMS benefit. On the flip side, the Rs 169 prepaid recharge comes with unlimited calling, 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The validity of the Rs 119 plan also offers benefits for 28 days.

Vodafone Rs 119 Prepaid Plan Launched: Benefits and Details

Vodafone has introduced this prepaid plan as a segmented one, meaning it's only valid to select users at the moment. As of now, it's available only in the telco's 4G circles. On the brighter side, Idea Cellular is also offering a similar plan of Rs 119 in its key circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Kerala among others. As for the benefits, users will get unlimited calling and 1GB of data valid for 28 days. Do make a note that the voice calling on Vodafone network is unlimited at the moment as the telco removed FUP on voice calling recently.

Vodafone Rs 169 Prepaid Plan Benefits in Detail

As mentioned above, Vodafone also has a Rs 169 prepaid plan which offers benefits similar to the Rs 119 prepaid plan. Vodafone has matched Bharti Airtel with the benefits of the Rs 169 plan. Vodafone is providing unlimited voice calling with the Rs 169 prepaid plan.

Coming to the data benefit, Vodafone is providing 1GB of data for 28 days, and it's not 1GB daily data. So you'll have to settle down with 1GB data for the entire 28 days validity. Lastly, users will also get 100 SMS per day benefit. That said, Vodafone used to offer Rs 159 prepaid plan earlier and the same has been modified to Rs 169.

The plan is valid for 28 days from the date of recharge and it's valid in all the circles. We have the plan's availability in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Chennai and other telecom circles as well.

vVodafone Rs 169 Prepaid Plan vs Jio's Rs 149 Plan

As it's clearly known, Vodafone has introduced this prepaid plan to take on Jio's Rs 149 plan, which has been one of the best-prepaid plans under Rs 150 since the start of 2018. However, Vodafone fails to beat Jio as the Mukesh Ambani-owned telco is giving unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit, 100 SMS per day and 1GB of 4G data for 28 days.

Vodafone Rs 169 Prepaid Plan vs Airtel Rs 169 Plan

Like Vodafone India, Airtel is offering the Rs 169 plan for prepaid users in all the circles with similar benefits. Airtel is giving 1GB of data along with unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days.

Vodafone Also Unveiled 1.6GB Daily Data Plans

A few days ago, Vodafone has unveiled its entire range of 1.6GB daily data plans starting at Rs 209. Vodafone now has two plans offering 1.6GB data per day, and they are Rs 209 and Rs 479. The Rs 209 plan offers benefits for 28 days, followed by the Rs 479 with 84 days validity. Vodafone did not revise the Rs 529 prepaid plan and it's still offering 1.5GB daily data for 90 days.
