Telecomtalk covered that story early in septemeber.

Now to promote this offer and add new GSM subscribers Virgin Mobile India launched a new trendy website - Hello40.in for online campaigning. The offer comes with First Recharge Coupon (FRC) of Rs 69 for new Virgin Mobile GSM subscribers.

Apar from that you can enjoy getting paid 10p/min  for 1st 60 days after activation for all incoming calls other than incoming calls from Tata Indicom, Docomo & Virgin Mobile.

As Virgin Mobile, first launched on Tata Indicom's CDMA network could not see success that it expected, is looking forward to make a bang on GSM platform with this plan.

TelecomTalk's Verdict: Though plan is exciting, daily SMS plan is not simple as Tata Docomo is offering. Most of users do not need 500 SMS(250 local + 250 national) per day at Rs 60 (0.50 x 4 x 30)per month. It would be better if they come with daily 100 -250 local and national SMS cap at Rs 30 (1st two at 50p and then free) that be best. It is a fact Tata Docomo attracts young people not only because of its per second tariff, but its daily flexible SMS plan also works for!
