Vodafone Idea Cheapest Data Voucher Gets a Price Hike
Vodafone Idea's cheapest data voucher comes with 1GB of data and costs Rs 23. It is valid for one day only. The plan will only work if you recharge with it on top of a base active prepaid plan. The cost has been increased by Re 1. From Rs 22, the cost has increased to Rs 23. This is not a major change.

However, in hindsight, this could be a move to incentivise users to recharge with the Rs 26 pack. It is also a data voucher and costs just Rs 3 more. With the Rs 26 voucher, Vi prepaid users get 1.5GB of data for 1 day. A Rs 3 difference but the data benefit is 50% more. Thus, many users may end up recharging with the Rs 26 plan instead of the Rs 23 option.
Vodafone Idea has not changed the price of any other prepaid data voucher. If you are a Vi prepaid customer, you can recharge with this plan now. As mentioned, you will require a base prepaid plan for a data voucher to work. Without a base active plan, your recharge will not work.
