Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest telecom company in India in terms of wireless subscriber market share, has removed the Hero Unlimited Benefits from the Rs 299 plan. Before the tariff hikes, and in fact, for a few days after the hikes, customers still got the Hero Unlimited benefits with the Rs 299 plan. However, that has been removed now and the users will have to spend at least Rs 349 if they want the Hero Unlimited benefits. The Rs 349 plan basically has the benefits of the older Rs 299 plan. So the price has gone up by a mere Rs 50.
What are the Hero Unlimited benefits? Let's find out.
