Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 is now seen on flagship smartphones after a lengthy delay for about two months. Usually, smartphone brands announce their flagship phones at the Mobile World Congress event with the latest and flagship Snapdragon chipset, but this year the production was delayed and the first smartphone to house the chip is the Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8+. Also, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium announced at the MWC 2017 event came with the Snapdragon 835 chip, but it went on sale in various countries recently.

Later on, various smartphones such as the Xiaomi Mi 6, HTC U11, ZTE Nubia Z17, and other upcoming phones such as the OnePlus 5, Motorola Moto Z2 and Z2 Force will house the Snapdragon 835. Some of these smartphones are already announced and available in some countries, while some of them are yet-to-be-unveiled. Here are the upcoming flagship smartphones with Snapdragon 835 chipset to be announced in the next two months in India.

HTC U11
Announced recently in Taipei, the HTC U11 is a piece of innovation from the Taiwanese giant after so many years. The U11 is the company's flagship phone and a squeezable smartphone as well. Yes, you heard it right. HTC thinks that the future belongs to squeezable smartphones and as a result, is the U11 which performs certain actions such as opening Google Assistant or opening camera app when you squeeze the phones from the sides.

Besides the piece of innovation, HTC has packed a punch in terms of hardware as well. The U11 has a 5.5-inch QHD display (not the QHD+ display seen on Galaxy S8 or LG G6), powered by the Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB/6GB of RAM, Adreno 540 GPU, and the highest rated camera in any smartphone (based on DxOMark rating). At the launch event, HTC said that the phone would be launched in India at a later date, maybe in mid-June.

Furthermore, HTC has got the pricing right this time. The U11 costs just $649 in the US, and maybe it will be priced at Rs. 51,990 in India as well.

Xiaomi Mi 6
The much-anticipated and much-asked smartphone from Indian consumers in recent times is the Xiaomi Mi 6. Xiaomi launched the flagship phone in April in its homeland China. And the company did not announce the phone in India until now, making its fans angry about the arrival of the phone.

The Mi 6 doesn't pack any groundbreaking and fancy features as the HTC U11, but it has the top of the line hardware. The Mi 6 flaunts a 5.15-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a dual camera at the back and is backed by a 3350mAh battery.

All these specifications at an insane price tag of $369 in China. The phone may be launched in India in coming weeks, but Xiaomi officially confirms nothing, as of now.

ZTE Nubia Z17
The Nubia Z17 has launched just a couple of days ago at the Computex 2017 event. The highlight of the phone is the bezel-less screen of 5.5-inches. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, clubbed with a whopping 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Nubia Z17 has two cameras at the back and comes with a 3200mAh battery. Nubia is eying good market share in India by the end of 2018, so the device will be launched in India to compete with the likes of OnePlus 5.

OnePlus 5
Even before the launch of OnePlus 5, the company hit the headlines claiming it will be the first smartphone in India to come powered by the Snapdragon 835, but Sony spoiled the happiness of the company by launching the Xperia XZ Premium in India.

The OnePlus 5 is expected to equip high-end hardware bearing a modest price tag. As of now, OnePlus did not reveal the launch date of the phone, but speculations claim that it may be launched on June 15. The device will reach Indian shores by the end of this month.

Motorola Moto Z2
Motorola is said to be working on the Moto Z2 lineup since a long time, and the affordable Moto Z2 Play became official a couple of days. The company will announce a slew of smartphones in coming days ranging from the budget lineup to flagship range. That said, the Moto Z2 has been spotted in benchmark sites with the Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device might be launched in India in August or by the end of July.
