Tata DoCoMo Intros New ISD Pack In Gujarat- Call US-Canada At 1 Paisa

Tata DOCOMO, the GSM mobile service operator today launched of yet another industry-defining offer that now allows all its subscribers in Gujarat telecom circle the never-before facility of making International calls (ISD) to any phone in the USA and Canada at just 1 paisa per second.

The revolutionary new ISD Packs is available at Rs60 with a tariff validity of 30 days. The new ISD packs enabled Tata Docomo prepaid subscribers in Gujarat telecom circle to call USA and Canada (mobile and land line) just at one paisa per second instead of current tariff of six paisa per second.




Earlier the similar ISD packs was launched in July-2010 for its prepaid subscribers in Punjab circle.

Speaking on the launch of New ISD pack, Mr. Nipun Sharma Chief Operating Officer-Tata Docomo Gujarat said "We pioneered the concept of pay per use in India and today have launched this ISD pack that allows the subscribers of Gujarat to make international calls to USA, Canada & UK at just 1 paisa per second."

According to Sharma, "out of the total 5.5 million NRI population in US, UK and Canada, 32 per cent are Non-resident Gujaratis (NRGs).Over 50 per cent of the ISD calling in Gujarat is to the UK, US and Canada and for every seven incoming calls there is one outgoing".
