British Test and assurance solutions provider Spirent Communications has introduced new 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) testing services. Demand for Network Performance Evaluation

Spirent says with 200 CSPs offering 5G FWA home services and 20 CSPs launching business offerings, demand for network evaluation is growing. Spirent’s new services aim to address this by offering critical insights into user experience and enabling operators to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

"5G FWA represents a growing trend and significant opportunity for CSPs to expand their revenue streams," said Stephen Douglas, Head of Market Strategy at Spirent on Tuesday.

"Expanding its monetisation potential means making testing of the user experience a priority and that’s what our latest solutions offer. It will also potentially save service providers, device, and network vendors millions of dollars in troubleshooting costs by enabling them to identify problems earlier in the development cycle."

Testing for Real-World Scenarios

The services cover key areas such as web browsing, VoWiFi, video streaming, cloud gaming, and RF environment characterisation. This enables CSPs to benchmark their services against competitors, enhance infrastructure efficiency, and deliver premium QoE during both peak and off-peak demand, the company said.
