Sony Xperia XZs, Xperia L2 and Xperia R1 Get Price Cuts Across All Offline and Online Stores

Sony Mobile has listed three of its devices with new price cuts for the Indian market. The said phones by Sony Mobile are the  Xperia XZs, Xperia L2, and the Xperia R1. With the new price cut in action, the Xperia XZs will now be available for the best buy price of Rs 29,990 which was previously retailing for Rs 39,990. Next, the Xperia L2 will be up for grabs at Rs 14,990 (previous price Rs 19,990). Lastly, the Xperia R1 will bear a price tag of Rs 9,990 (which was previously retailing for Rs 10,990). The price cut will be applicable starting July 6. Also, the new pricing will be live across all stores whether offline or online. If new buyers wish to buy these devices they can head to offline Sony Centers, Amazon India, Flipkart, and major electronics stores.

To recall, the Xperia XZs debuted in the Indian market last year in April. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, and an Adreno 510 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Xperia which is known for its camera quality shipped the phone with 19MP Motion Eye rear camera, with support for 960FPS super slow motion videos and a 13MP front-facing camera.

As of right now, the high-end Xperia XZs is available for Rs 39,990 on Amazon, and similarly, the Xperia L2 is retailing for Rs 20,055 on the online store. The Xperia R1 gets a massive discount on Amazon Prime with a price tag of Rs 9,974, a price point which is even lower than the official pricing after the price cut.

The mid-range offering by Xperia in this segment is the Xperia L2, launched in February 2018. The phone features a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. In the imaging department, the phone sports a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front camera with a f/2.4 aperture for selfies.

The entry-level offering by Sony Mobile is the Xperia R1 which debuted in the Indian market in October last year. The phone sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) TFT display and it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. The phone has a satisfactory 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage comparable to other budget level phones of 2017.
