Samsung Galaxy J8, which was unveiled a month ago is finally up for sale in India. The smartphone was initially said to go on sale starting June 20, but that didn't happen. The Samsung Galaxy J8 can be purchased on Amazon India or at any offline stores nearby you. Highlights in the J8 include the Infinity Display on the front, Snapdragon 450 SoC under the hood, dual cameras on the rear and dual 4G support. The device is available for purchase at Rs 18,990 and Amazon has listed a bunch of launch offers- including No Cost EMI on major credit cards, flat Rs 2,000 cashback with ICICI Debit/Credit cards. Users can also pick up the one-time screen replacement offer at Rs 990 while purchasing the handset.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Specifications and Features
The Samsung Galaxy J8 sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. At the heart of the phone, there's the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform with all the cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung has added a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.

The Galaxy J8 has dual 4G functionality as listed on Amazon India website. The smartphone boots Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, layered with Samsung Experience UI on top. Cameras in the Samsung Galaxy J8 include a 16MP primary shooter and 5MP secondary depth sensor on the rear. The rear camera comes with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus support. Samsung offers 4x digital zoom support as well. The smartphone has a 16MP shooter on the front with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.

This entire package is backed by a 3500mAh battery. Samsung has placed the fingerprint scanner on the rear side below the rear camera module; The phone even comes with support for Face Unlocking functionality. Dimensions of the smartphone are 15.9 x 0.8 x 7.6cm, and it measures 191 grams. As always, Samsung ditched the Ambient Light sensor on this handset, but thankfully, it comes with Accelerometer and Proximity sensors. This dual-SIM smartphone offers connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port.
