Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications has launched “Call drop se chhutkara” offer for Delhi-NCR, a solution it claims to be ‘freedom from call drops’. The offer will provide the users in Delhi 300 minutes app-to-app data calls using its 850 MHz band at an introductory pricing of Re. 1 for 30 days.
Also, the users will get 7MB data per day that can be used for browsing or data calling. The company estimates that the 7MB will be sufficient to make 10 minutes app-to-app call per day. The unused data that day will stand forfeited. The new plan can be used to make calls worldwide via popular data-based apps like WhatsApp, Viber. Line, Facebook Messenger and Google Hangouts among others.
Commenting on the launch, Mr Gurdeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Consumer Business, Reliance Communications, said, “We have always had a strong emotional connect with Delhi-NCR and the people here, and are excited to redefine voice calling with our ‘Call Drops Se Chhutkara’ offer, providing app-to-app talking and complete freedom from call drops.”
“Using the Reliance 4G LTE network, customers will experience High-Definition quality and instant connectivity, freedom from slow Internet access and blazing data speeds on the digital superhighway. Best of all, existing and new Reliance 4G LTE customers will switch to the new way of calling, and enjoy instant and crystal clear voice with great savings,” he said.
The service is already available in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, and RCom plans to roll out it in other circles soon.
