Reliance communications the 4th largest operator by subscriber base is gearing up for the tariff war which has been set in motion by the launch of operations by Jio. The free voice for life offering of Jio in all its bundled plans has had serious implications on all existing mobile operators who have been forced to cut tariffs to remain relevant in the market.
Following Jio's free voice announcement we saw BSNL declare their own version of free calling from Jan 2017 followed by Aircel launching free calling voucher in UP East circle. Now Rcom has entered the arena and has launched a Non stop calling plan for subscribers in Andhra Pradesh at a price point of Rs.153.
Details of the Non stop plan:
- Unlimited calls to any local or STD reliance number.
- 1000 minutes off net calling to local or STD mobiles or landlines.
- 28 days validity
The above plan details have been shared by Rcom with reliance distributors in Telangana. Rcom may later extend the plan on a Pan India basis to secure its position in the voice market. Rcom users in AP circle may check the offer by dialling *129# from their phones and following the USSD prompts. Kindly share your views and opinions through comments section below.
