Bharti Airtel has updated their My Airtel app for both Android and iOS with new features. The update is already available to download from the respective app stores. In the latest version 4.2.4, three new features are added- the ability to pay multiple bills at the same time, complete details and usage of your prepaid data, and the corporate users can now buy data packs easily from the app itself.

The ability to pay multiple bills at the same time is a great feature to have around. If you have more than two Airtel postpaid connections in your family, you can now pay the bills at the same time with the new 'Pay All Bills' feature. However, this feature only works if you have added another Airtel postpaid connection to your account. You can easily link as many as postpaid accounts possible, and with the latest app update, you can pay the bills all the same time.

Here's the official changelog of the My Airtel version 4.2.4

1. Have multiple bills to pay? Now, pay in a single transaction with "Pay all Bills" Feature
2. Understand your prepaid data better, get complete details and usage splits
3. Postpaid Corporate customers can now buy data packs easily

Besides the pay all bills feature, there are two other new features as well in the latest app. Another prominent feature is that you can now track your prepaid data usage along with entire usage time and splits, much like how Jio is showing your data usage in the MyJio application. This feature is very handy and is aimed at taking on the MyJio app. In addition, postpaid corporate customers can now buy data packs directly from the application itself, which was not present in the earlier versions of My Airtel.

If you look at the added features, it is clearly noticeable that Airtel is trying to take on Reliance Jio by providing better services. Apart from My Airtel app, both the private telcos offer other digital content services such as JioMusic, Wynk Music for music streaming, and Wynk Movies and JioCinema to watch latest videos.

As mentioned earlier, the update is already live in the respective app stores. If you haven't received the update, please wait for the next two or three days for the update to reach you.
