Brand Equity has recently announced the latest edition of Most Trusted brands in India for 2012. Nokia, Samsung Mobile, Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL emerged as most trusted mobile and telecom brands in 2012 in India. As mobile and telecom turns to be no more luxury and closer to consumers as daily needs, there are several mobile operators and handset manufacturers are listed on this.

In top ten, Nokia is placed at third, which simply explains why Nokia still has better sales than other handset vendors in India. Samsung Mobile stands at 51st position.

Among the mobile and telecom operators, Airtel, Vodafone and BSNL get the maximum popularity. Bhari Airtel is at 18th, Vodafone India at 30th and BSNL stands at 53th position. This survey tells that even if BSNL is loosing its shine to private service providers it still has its glamor to many Indians.

This year Team BE has covered more cities like Patna, Indore and Vijayawada. These markets were previously ignored to conduct the survey. The survey is based on the statement given by a marketer: "I would always recommend this brand to my family and friends."

Here is a look at the top 100 Most Trusted Brands 2012.
