Lenovo TAB S8 with 8-inch full HD display launched in India for Rs. 16990

Lenovo has unveiled TAB S8 voice calling tablet in India. It has partnered with e-commerce retailer Flipkart for exclusively selling the tablet online for Rs. 16,990. It is now available for sale.

The first glimpse of the TAB S8 was given by the company at the IFA 2014, held in September. The tablet comes with an 8-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.86GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The tab runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

The TAB S8 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, wide-angled lens and LED flash. It also has a 1.6-megapixel front camera. In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and microUSB. It is backed by a 4290mAh battery which is touted by the company to deliver up to 16 days of standby time on a single charge.
