The high-flying telecom network in the country, Reliance Jio seems to be now shifting their focus towards improving their digital services. In an unusual move, RJIL, a couple of days ago announced the integration of JioMoney, the company's standalone payments service with the JioChat, a chat application designed to take on WhatsApp and other instant messaging apps.
Well, you might be wondering, how does this integration work? Some months ago, Snapdeal-owned FreeCharge launched a feature called as 'Chat and Pay' with which users can pay to a person (P2P) via the chat screen itself.
Now, you might have got a clear idea on how this new feature from Jio work. All you need to do is link your JioMoney account to the JioChat application. And, Jio has made the process even simpler.

Head over to the JioChat settings screen and click on the 'Payments.' section. Now, you will be asked to link you JioMoney account. After hitting the link button, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number, which will be auto fetched if the mobile number is installed in the same phone.
That's it. You have successfully linked your JioMoney account with JioChat. Now, a new button will be present in your chat screen, which by clicking will ask the amount to be sent to another person. The entire process is very simple, and Jio is making this move to drive more users onto the application.
Apart from this, Jio recently added the 'Smart Download' feature to JioCinema app as well, which gives an option to the user to schedule their downloads between 2 AM to 5 AM because the company is offering unlimited data in that particular time space.
