Idea Cellular Launches Student Pack for FREE in Punjab

Keeping in view the communication needs of students, IDEA Cellular, the pan-India GSM mobile service operator has introduced a breakthrough 'Student Pack' in the prepaid category of its mobile services in Punjab Telecom circle.

Idea Cellular offers Student Pack absolutely Free for every student who Registers for the "Idea Campus Ke Sirji – the biggest Talent Hunt contest. The pack will also available with Idea retailers across the Punjab circle at Rs.35.

The Student Pack offers local Idea to Idea calling just at 20 paisa per minute for Day Time and 10p/min in Night hours (11pm to 6 am)  and other network local and STD  at 1p/second. All SMS at 10 paise, along with one year validity.

The newly launched Student Pack also offers one month free subscription to Education Portal and free downloads worth Rs.450 from Idea Fresh portal.

Apart from the Students Pack, Idea Cellular also launches "Talent Hunt" program for Colleges in Punjab circle dubbed as Campus Ke Sirji’ - the biggest Talent Hunt.

With this IDEA Cellular will go to 100 Colleges in 6 cities across the state, to select a Singer, Dancer, Model and a Public Speaking Expert who will get an opportunity to feature in Idea’s ‘Campus Ke Sirji’ Posters, besides the chance to perform amidst large gatherings of people across different parts of the state.The semi finals will take place in every zone of Punjab, and the activity would culminate with finals to be held in Chandigarh

The first phase of the Annual Contest, ‘Campus ke Sirji’ takes off this week, allowing college students to register for the Talent Hunt. Registration counters will be set up inside College campuses. Every student who registers for the contest will get an Idea connection, absolutely FREE. All the details pertaining to the schedule of the contest, semi-finals and the Final will be sent to the candidates on their Idea numbers.
