Huawei Honor V8, which has been under the rumor mill for some time, will be unveiled at an event in China on May 10, confirms the company. The device has now been spotted on TENNA certification website with model numbers KNT-AL20, KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10. The top variant of the smartphone is expected to come powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 955 while the other two variants would be powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 950 processor.
As per the listing on TENAA, the upcoming Huawei Honor V8 sports a 5.7-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin processors as mentioned above, along with 4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB/64GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Honor V8 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI on top of it out-of-the-box. It is backed up by a 3,400mAh battery with fast-charging support. The smartphone has a 12-megapixel dual rear camera setup with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, and laser focus along with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. For connectivity, Honor V8 supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a Fingerprint sensor.
Huawei Honor V8 is expected to come in three color variants - Gold, Silver and Rose Gold. There is no information about the pricing yet.
