Looks like HTC has an increased focus on its mid-range smartphone series. After bringing the Desire 820, the Desire 820Q, and the Desire 620 to India, HTC has launched one more device in the Desire series of smartphones. The best Desire smartphone till date, the HTC Desire Eye, which was announced last month, is now available in India for Rs. 35,990. The price seems very attractive and places the device between the HTC One E8 and the HTC One M8.

The HTC Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot,  Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and a 2,400 mAh battery. The most interesting bit about the devices is its IPX7 certification for water-resistance and dual 13-megapixel cameras, one at the front and the other at the back. Both the cameras feature autofocus lens, dual-tone LED flash, and 1080p video recording.
