Advancements in Fiber Infrastructure

The company deployed 39,880 fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) lines from January to June this year. With these developments, Globe said it has expanded its network infrastructure across the country.

“This year’s rollout is strategically planned to maximise the utilisation of Globe’s existing fiber inventory, aligning with its reduced cash capital expenditure (CAPEX) allocation,” the operator said in a recent statement.

Focus on Geographically Isolated Areas

Globe mentioned that its expansion efforts extend beyond urban centers, with the operator bringing connectivity to over 500 geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) as part of its commitment to bridging the digital divide.
