Airtel adds the most number of rural GSM subscribers in Feb 2015

The total rural subscriber base of India as of Feb 2015 stood at 330.34 million.The operator with the largest rural GSM subscriber base is Airtel with 104.93 million users. Airtel acquires 111.6 MHz of prime spectrum across 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz bands

Bharti Airtel, has announced that it has acquired 111.6 MHz of prime spectrum across 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz bands for a total consideration of Rs. 29,130 crores.
