Targeting the tier II and tier III cities of India, Panasonic has launched T44 lite smartphone with medium specifications at a pocket-friendly price of Rs. 3199. Sold exclusively on Snapdeal from August 1, Panasonic T44 lite will feature a 4-inch WVGA display with 800 x 400p resolution and a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 512MB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS out-of-the-box.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said, “We are happy to announce the product in partnership with Snapdeal at a very appealing price. T44 lite is the perfect choice for the youth who want a trendy phone loaded with future-proof features and yet not being heavy in the pocket.

In terms of camera, Panasonic T44 lite is equipped with a 2MP camera at the rear with LED Flash. There is also a VGA camera on the front. The smartphone also integrates an array of camera features including burst mode, just shut mode, panorama, and digital image stabilization.

In terms of connectivity, Panasonic T44 lite supports GSM 800/900/1800/1900, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. There is no 4G connectivity in this dual-SIM smartphone. A 2400mAh battery completes the package.

T44 lite will be available in three color variants - Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, and Electric Blue.
