BSNL Converts Seven Broadband Plans to Daily Data Plans

BSNL is on a revision spree of late. The state-run telecom service provider has now revised seven of its broadband plans across the country. As seen with the company’s recent revision of Rs 249 broadband plan, all the broadband plans of BSNL now ships with daily data benefit. BSNL has revised the Rs 675, Rs 845, Rs 999, Rs 1,199, Rs 1,495, Rs 1,745 and Rs 2,295 broadband plans and they offer up to 30GB daily data. The speeds of the plans remain the same, but the only difference is they ship with daily data benefit like the most prepaid plans out there. BSNL also introduced a Rs 549 broadband plan recently and also increased the price of Rs 249 plan to Rs 299.


BSNL BBG Combo ULD 675: Benefits and Details

This plan from BSNL is priced at Rs 675 (excluding GST) and it now provides a user 5GB of data per day at 10 Mbps speeds for the rental period. Once the 5GB daily FUP completes, users can enjoy data speeds of 2 Mbps without any FUP limit. The plan also comes with unlimited voice calling benefit. Earlier, the same plan offers 35GB of data at 10 Mbps speeds along with 2 Mbps after FUP download, upload speeds. But it now provides a whopping 150GB data benefit for the entire validity period.

BSNL BBG Combo ULD 845: Benefits and Details

The BBG Combo ULD 845 broadband plan from BSNL is valid across the country and it now provides a user 10GB data per day at 10 Mbps speeds along with 2 Mbps after FUP speeds. Earlier, the same plan used to offer 50GB of data for the entire rental period. Like the Rs 675 broadband plan, it also comes with unlimited voice calling facility.

BSNL BBG Combo ULD 999 and Combo ULD 1199: Benefits and Details

Next on the list, we have the two plans priced over Rs 1,000. The BBG Combo ULD 999 plan which used to ship with 70GB data now offers a user 15GB data per day at 10 Mbps speeds. Post the daily limit, users can consume data at 2 Mbps speeds. The BBG Combo ULD 1199 plan, on the other hand, comes with 20GB daily data at the same 10 Mbps speeds.

BBG Combo ULD 1495 and Combo ULD 2295: Benefits and Details

The premium-priced non-FTTH broadband plan from BSNL is the Rs 2,295 one which earlier used to offer 200GB of data at 24 Mbps speeds, but now, the same plan comes with 35GB data per day at 24 Mbps speeds. The Rs 1,495 plan now offers a user 25GB data per day at 10 Mbps, up from the earlier 140GB data benefit.

BSNL BBG Combo 1745 VDSL: Benefits and Details

In the revised BSNL broadband plans list, we also have a VDSL plan of Rs 1,745. The plan used to offer 16 Mbps speeds till 140GB and 2 Mbps post the FUP. After the revision, it provides the same 16 Mbps speeds, but the data benefit is 30GB per day. These changes are already effective across the country.

BSNL is introducing many plans,but useless, service connectivity is very bad, only good about BSNL is their bills come on time and if you don’t pay on time you get fine

I agree with some comments made here. BSNL should improve their network reliability and speed. Network fails generally after office hours or on holidays. Next is service. BSNL should provide 24×7 service so that the network problems are attended within a few hours. Under present system a network or phone problem reported on Saturday is attended only on following Monday. It is like handing over to Private networks for holiday period. So itvis for BSNL to study and improve.
