Asianet Dataline, a division of Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd, the largest Cable TV Network in Kerala and one of the top provider of affordable and fast Broadband in kerala has hiked its tariff recently.
Asianet has hiked almost 10% across all its plans but they have also added extra usage to all plans to substitute to the hike.
Their most famous plan Homenet 475 night unlimited (2am-8am) 4Mbps with 3GB has been revised to Xpress 520 4Mbps night unlimited + 4GB they are also offering 1GB extra for Rs 45 hike in this plan. But for plans above 520 there is no extra usage for the hike.
Asianet is offering 4Mbps speed limited broadband plans above Rs 275 in kerala for the last 3 years. Asianet always had competitive tariff with its rival BSNL while offering double speed.
Asianet is Kerala's first triple play provider they also offer cable and internet telephony to subscribers. Recently they started offering "Combo Offer" for subscribers using their broadband and Digital TV.
The following reason was given by Asainet Dataline to its subscribers for the hike :
"We are forced to revise the plans due to increase in cost and levies and would be migrating you to the next level. However we are pleased to offer you additional benefits in most of the plans with this revision. The details of the plans are available in www.asianetbroadband.in. You have always played an integral part in the success story of Asianet Broadband and we are deeply obliged to you for the same. Looking forward to your esteemed support in the future too."
