Bharti Airtel, India's leading GSM service provider, has launched its "NIGHT RADIO" service. Available to Airtel customers pan-India, customers can dial 55170 and access thousands of their favorite songs at a rental of Rs 15 per month.
Calls to this number would be charged only 20 paise per minute.
In some circles such as AP the previous "Airtel Radio" service - 5432139 - has been withdrawn. This old service had a monthly charge of Rs 20 with no usage charges. As a special offer, users of the old radio service are being given two months free subscription to the new NIGHT RADIO service on 55170.
