Airtel gets new customer experience director for India & South Asia

Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom operator said that it has appointed Sarang Kanade as Director – Customer Experience, India & South Asia.

Sarang, who is currently CEO, Delhi Circle, takes over from Raghunath Mandava, who has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Airtel Africa. He will report to Gopal Vittal, CEO – India & South Asia, Bharti Airtel, the company said.

Sarang joined Airtel in March 2010 and has held senior positions such as COO and CEO in the Upper North Hub (Punjab, Haryana, HP and J&K).

Prior to joining Airtel, Sarang has worked with Spencers Retail as VP, and with Marico in various sales roles. He is an Engineering Graduate (1992 batch) from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai and has completed his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (1996 batch).
