It is worth noting that this referral offer will be in the form of cashback and it will be credited to the person’s Airtel DTH account from where it will be used for paying bills or to get other services. To get the Airtel DTH referral offer benefits, the Airtel DTH subscriber will have to type SMS REFER with the friend’s mobile number, for example, REFER 98XXXXXX63 and the subscriber will be required to send it to 54325. Also, Airtel Digital TV has notified that the message should be sent from the registered mobile number which has been linked to the referrer’s Airtel DTH account for the process to be valid.
When the interested friends of the existing Airtel DTH subscriber buy an Airtel Digital TV connection with the specified number, then the referrer and the referee get to enjoy cashback benefits of Rs 200 each. Also, it is crucial to make note that the cashback amount will be credited to the users’ accounts only after seven days of activation of the new Airtel DTH account. The company has also noted that an existing Airtel DTH subscriber will be able to make a maximum of five referrals per month.
Bharti Airtel Referral Offer for Postpaid Subscribers
This is not the first time that Bharti Airtel has introduced a referral scheme; the telecom operator had also reintroduced the referral program for its postpaid plans a few months back. Under this plan, the existing postpaid users of Bharti Airtel could make a referral using a referral link. When the referee buys a postpaid connection through the referral link, then the referrer and the referee both get the benefit of Rs 150 cashback voucher. This coupon of Rs 150 was redeemable three times, with the benefit summing up to Rs 50 each time. The benefit was credited to users’ My Airtel app, from where they can use the coupon to avail discount on their postpaid bills while making the payment.
