Aircel introduces new rate cutter in Kolkata, Offers Local/STD calls at 25p/min

Aircel has introduced new rate cutters RC43 and RC74 in Kolkata circle offering reduced local/STD call rates to both landline and mobile phone of any network.

The rate cutter RC43 comes at a cost of Rs 43 and offer local/STD calls to any network at 25p/min for 30 days. Similarly RC74 cost Rs 74 and offer local/STD to any network at 25p/min for 60 days.

TRAI had recently reduced interconnection charges for mobile calls to 14p and abolished interconnect charge for landline calls. This has enabled smaller operators like Aircel to further reduce its calling tariff.
