FACEBOOK GOES MOBILE IN INDIA WITH TATA INDICOM

facebook-tata-indicomFaceBook today launched its "Mobile SMS Notification service" and the service is only available to Tata Indicom users. Tata Indicom mobile service is integrated with FaceBook to let user stay connected with FaceBook without Internet.

User will receive Free SMS updates; can get Notifications for friend request, pokes, wall posts, messages etc through SMS. User can instantly take action for accepting friend’s requests or replying to the wall posts by replying to the same SMS by their Tata Indicom mobile.




 The Mobile subscriber also can select which when & how many notifications should be sent to them. The text SMS service for "FaceBook" shall be provided over short code 51555. Nominal charges are deducted if you send a reply to a notification. To send Reply from mobile via SMS service you will be charged as Rs 1/SMS. Incoming alerts are completely free.This facility is available by SMS on ALL the handsets and Photo upload is available on all MMS supported handsets.
