Under the title "A lot can change in a day," the South Korean tech giant advertised the showcase event slated for August 9 through three different video clips, each depicting everyday problems people face when using smartphones.

The videos described situations where users can get frustrated due to low battery, lack of storage space and slow download speed, IANS news agency reported.

"The newest addition to the Galaxy family's most premium line has been optimised from the inside out to keep up with users' busy lives, with technologies that raise the bar for smartphone power, performance and speed," the company said on its website.

"Together, these enhancements make Samsung's newest flagship its most powerful yet, and the only device you need to manage work, play and everything in between," the company added.

Industry watchers expect the new Galaxy Note 9 to come with 4000mAh battery and 512GB data storage capacity, along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9810 chipsets. Samsung is also adding various new features to the Note 9' SPen. Furthermore, India's e-commerce portal, Flipkart is also teasing the handset's launch in the sub-continent. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, in India, might start retailing at Rs 68,900, same as the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung is trying hard to increase the craze for the Galaxy Note 9 because it may not be a bigger upgrade over the Note 8.
