Vodafone is trying to be ahead of others in every aspect. After introducing Rs. 346 plan for prepaid users offering 1GB of data and free data gift for postpaid users, Vodafone has now modified the particular FR 353 plan for new users.
According to our sources, users whoever joins Vodafone and recharges with the FR 353 plan will now get 1GB of data daily for 4G handsets with a validity period of 28 days. Previously, the same plan used to offer 1GB of data per day, but Vodafone limited the users to consume only 500MB on daytime and 500MB on night hours, which annoyed several people.
That said, this offer is valid for customers with 4G handset and users without a 4G handset will get only 50MB of data. Customers joining Vodafone should first recharge with this plan to enjoy the benefits.
Vodafone will be offering the same plan benefits at Rs. 348 for the next one year for customers whoever joins Vodafone and recharges with the FR 353 plan before March 31, 2017. Besides the daily data, the FR 353 also offers unlimited local and STD calls for 28 days.
This offer is similar to the existing prepaid users' Rs. 346 plan, which was offered only for segmented customers as it offers 1GB of data daily along with unlimited local and STD calling for 28 days.
Vodafone might be making this change because of the attractive new user offers from the likes of Aircel and RCom. Recently, Aircel introduced unlimited combo plans for new users of FRC291, FRC192, and FRC82. The FRC291 provides unlimited Aircel to Aircel calls along with 108000 seconds and 5GB of data for 28 days. When compared to Aircel and Vodafone's new user schemes, Vodafone's plan is better than the Aircel, because of the data it offers.
