These new packs are similar to Airtel's Infinity Plans, which they launched a few months ago. The company is trying to bind its highest paid users with these offers.

In Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh states, the company is facing stiff competition from Airtel, which even managed to bag maximum number of new users in the circle in August 2015. Idea gained just 19,310 users compared to Airtel's net addition of 1,22,368 users.

Idea is also planning to bring 4G LTE based on FDD-LTE standard in the circle by early next year to counter possible threats from Reliance Jio.
