1Password Alpha released for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1

AgileBits has launched an alpha version of the popular password manager app 1Password for Windows and Windows Phone. The app enables users to save and sync randomly created passwords for different accounts on various websites.

1Password AlphaThe present version of the 1Password for Windows Phone was updated in the year 2013 and it is still running the basic UI, which will be changed by the new alpha version. We hope that this version would changes app’s outlook for Microsoft platforms and also provide solutions for future support.




The 1Password being a pervasive application is available for download from the Windows and Windows Phone stores. We would suggest our readers to keep in mind that it is an alpha release, which means that bugs and glitches will be present. In case you encounter any bug, make sure you report it to the developer so that the next update can fix the problem.

1Password offers following features:

  • Users can open an existing .opvault folder on their device or in the Dropbox account (main and secondary vault)
  • View and utilize 1Password data, along with synced changes other devices.
  • Enables users to copy the user name, password, or other field
