What a journey! Its been 760 days with 2.8 million fans in Facebook and some highs and lows throughout the newest and probably the most innovative telecom operator in India turns 2 today.

everybody criticizing tata docomo for capping speed to 128 kbps from earlier 250+ kbps, still those idiots are not understanding customer pain. whether the speed is 128 kbps or 250 kbps, customer can download only 4Gb per month under rs.95 plan. if the speed is slow, customers will spend more time on its network and use more spectrum. can’t these idiots understand such simple logic!!!

Exactly 26 June 2009 was the date they started their operation from Chennai for the whole of India. I have the full page ad published in ‘The Hindu’/Chennai/p.22.Thereafter the network was expanded. The next day also they gave a different full page ad in the same paper & same page.

victimised in getting lucrative Delhi GSM circle.Recently the litigation also was positive and TTSL stand vindicated.Have not seen TDSAT verdict? That “others” were given ‘out-of-turn’ priority while tata’s application for spectrum was put on the back-burner for Delhi circle?

All network will increase their traffic when their customer gets increased… Not only docomo other service provider like videocon and reliance increased when reach some amount of customers… But still TATADOCOMO provides good traffic rates and good service… But i’m sure that TATA will increase their in future… My best wishes to tata… Keep ROCKING TATA…..

tata docomo is a chor & hijda company! its true, it has reduced the gprs speed to pathetic level. earlier, best gprs speed used to be usp. but now pathetic gprs has become the usp for not choosing/dumping tata docomo.

Hi, HAPPY B’DAY to TATA DOCOMO.
Tata Docomo shows the lowest lavel not only in calling rate it comes with great VAS and good offers with strong network.
I request TATA DOCOMO to start Rs.94 plan which gives 276 min to tata network and 1 GB GPRS per month for 1 yr.
Last year DOCOMO comes with this plan. and its help to increase customers. now MNP is start so its positive for TATA DOCOMO.

Tata docomo is very late in launching 3G services and still in only few cities only so no need to talk about states and 2g very bad network poor outdoor coverage and no availability if you are out of city and tariff increasing rapidly
i wanna see docomo happy death day in near future if docomo is not improved

As usual I want to say Happy Birth Day DOCOMO,many many happy returns of the day.
But hope in next birthday DOCOMO will not in the condition to celebrate birthday.though network quality is somehow improved in my area but because of increasing rate of promo and power cards docomo is unable to catch no more customer as earlier.

i was first to take its sim on 10th july 2009 at bangalore in my society ,but in two yrs many changes i have witnessed like gprs speed degraded especially, call quality , coverage improved but degraded too..call rates however on a way of increment …spectrum not alloted in many vital districts (if u roam in those circle roaming rates would b flat not per sec, however they r having licence in those circle…these all sorts of points has to noticed by td

happy bday TATA Docomo, i know that you all are facing some network problems , but i am pretty sure that as soon as you get the spectrum ur services will improve . i am staying with TATA DOCOMO no matter how is their service. and one more thing to launch services in 8 circles in less than 1 and a half year is really doing something great which no one has done. now all TATA DOCOMO needs to do is just to improve on their existing network . and i am sure in coming years u will be the top network just like TATA INDICOM. We all love you very very much just do the new and keep it simple.
and it doesnt matter how many of you criticise tata docomo, just think of them by getting in their shoes. i am saying this because to improve network in whole of india needs some doing and also needs huge capital so i am always ready to give them time. keep it up guys ! u just rock!

and one more thing i want to add – tata docomo’s gprs speed has become the worst in the industry…. worse than airtel and aircel. earlier, i used to easily get 200-250 kbps but now its unethically capped at 128 kbps with average speeds of 40-70 kbps only, even during off or non-peak hours!
thats why i dumped my secondary connection tata docomo and ported out to idea! my primary no. is of airtel.

tata docomo is becoming worse day by day. even after two years their network has not improved roperly… especially the roaming network… its worst in the industry! and secondly, tata docomo is unethically & stealthily increasing tariffs of special packs within few months of launch… on-net packs, gprs packs etc. there is no stability in tariffs & plans.
i thought, during MNP tata docomo will the biggest gainer. but the results – rcom the biggest looser followed by tata, shows that network coverage and quality is the first priority for most customers. thought i hate the arrogant and impotent vodafone and airtel, i have no other choice to continue with them because of their excellent coverage.
tata docomo can make impact and sustain itself in the long term only and only if has one of the best network coverage and quality in the industry. else it will be a fringe player only and the likes of airtel, vodafone and idea will rule!
hence KISS tata docomo and have the best network, else you are meaningless and fringe!

in meerut their coverage is excelent except cantt u cannot complain abou its network in cantt every company hav week signals as army dont allow to put towers, and in nearbly villages also its satisfactory in short where ever i hav to go there is tata docomo network and i dont bother abt other places and its terrifs are best in our circle……….all local, std, roaming (incoming) @1p/2sec what else u want???

Tata docomo is becoming worst day by day by reducing juice in juiceup packs and increasing prices. This is the 2011 still i am not able to get 3G service with docomo there is no 3g in my city other operators airtel bsnl and idea coverage is available but no luck with docomo i think docomo is far behind than other operators in launching 3G. i am using docomo because of onnet calls among all my family members but without 3G the uninor rates are cheaper than docomo i am thinking to port out all my family and friend numbers to uninor and for 3g a separate sim card of bsnl with 70 paisa per min. And free incoming. idea with 2 paisa per sec. Call rate will do the job
assuming that docomo launched 3g services in middle 2010 and more than half 2011 gone and still docomo 3G not available due to lack of infrastructure so my hope is now broken and the docomo is now not a trusted and reliable operator anymore. so its time to say Tata and bye bye to this amature baby

When Tata Docomo was launched, it was the best and top network in terms of service and tariff. After two yours, look where they are. They are struggling at the bottom. What made them a drastic drop to the bottom? What happened to their innovative tariff plans? Why they are slashing their offers? Frankly saying, TATA DOCOMO are the worst network in terms of network coverage, customer service, tariff etc. They are a total failure. Previously their most attraction was its tariff. Now they got some customer base and now trying to get most out of it. They are highly complex in terms of transparency and at the same time they are advertising to keep simple. What a contradiction… I am sorry to say this on your birth day, but you made it. I think you can’t see your 2rd birthday any way. Bye bye Tata Docomo. Give space to others.

It seems you are a lucky man wherever you are living. Also I get 30-60 kBps speed on my airtel EDGE connection at my villgae. So its compeletly depends upon the voice and data signals traffic at the location where you resides but the bigges irony of docomo is as they are offering such low tarrifs and their network is becoming more and more worst everywhere.

I have been use Tata docomo for 2yrs. Its provide best offer in affordable price with good network clearity. No doubt its my 1st choice.
In our area its gprs speed realy amazed me
79.284kb/s it too fast than other netwrk. I used it to download big software in my p.c. Last night i have downloaded 150MB only in 50mins with 109Kb/s speed. (by- mobilespeedtest.com)
other packs which i use normaly in difference time on my basis of needed
Rs-9(all local 30p), Rs-11(2000 sms loc+std), Rs-49(all std 30p),
Rs-65( gprs2.5 GB) or Rs-15(500mb)

when it turns 3 it should turn back home. Now the customer care is worse, tariffs high. worst network coverage(including 3G). It happens in TTSL everytime first 2-3 years hit then you will have to search for their customers having their network as Tata Indicom, Virgin, ect ect. The same case here also. Remember Network cannot be judged in Facebook as you have highest number of fans in India.

Solve your network problem first then celebrate. Still unable to connect gprs more than 8 hours a day. 5 problems faced 1. Pocket data connection not available 2. Pocket data connection closed by operator 3. Temporary network problem 4. Network busy 5. Network failure. This is happening after that rate hike of gprs pack

3.Flexible and Competitive plans.
4.Underground Metro Station Coverage(Kolkata)
5.Free VoiceMAIL(both recording and retrieval)/Misscall alert
Cons:
1.Coverage issues outside Kolkata and suburbs.(mainly indoors)
2.GPRS Internet speed degraded and is variable, depends on location (VODAFONE COSTLY BUT BEST SPEED)
3.No on-net callrate discount on general plan without a promo pack.

ye to hona hi tha….muzhe 6 Mahine pahele hi pata chal gaya tha ke ek baar tata ke customer badh jayenge wo tariff badha denge aur GPRS speed bhi kafi slow ho jayegi….ek time tha jab koi naya mobile leta to yahi sochta ke main issmne BSNL ka Sim 1500 Rs kyo naa dene pade dalunga to sirf BSNL ka hi sim… Aaj ki condition Me tata ka sim to easyllee mil jata hai lekin qwality BSNL se bhi Ghatia wajeh sirf ek comman man yahi sochta hai ke tata sabse sasta oprator hai isliye uska hi sim leta hai….isliye uska network bhi kharab ho chuka hai air net ki speed bhi faltu ho chuki hai…but maine mera tata ka nomber ko idea me port kar dia tha and i am rely happy with it….thx to mnp

Not only tata docomo….whole tata teleservice is fraude…once i lost my tata indicom ph…when i go to tata shop…they told that this ph is not mine…this sim is issued by another one(question is that then who used that sim card issued by my document…)..they does not block the sim even rejected to issue the sim.i have the purchse document of that sim issued from the same shop. then also they rejected to issue that sim..@siddharth

network coverage also very bad in west bengal…or gprs net service itna ghtia hain koi bhi site kholta nahi…gprs me tum ko 2 GB deta surfing ke liye deta hain..par tum mahina bhar me 2 mb bhi khatam kar nahi paoge ….itna ghatia speed hain…
Its not reliabe operator…so WTF even its call rate is low…no use of that….

This is a sad birthday for TATA DOCOMO. They increased their tariff lot. So hereafter DOCOMO market surely decreased.
