MTNL Slashes 3G Data Rates, Regularize Unlimited 3G Plans

Our very own Independence Day is round the corner and it is bonanza time for MTNL subscribers, India's First 3G Mobile Service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) slashed its default 3G Data Charges (without any data pack) and also Regularized its UNLIMITED 3G Data Plans (Postpaid & Prepaid) for Delhi telecom circle.

Now MTNL's 3G Subscribers in Limited 3G Data Plans as well as without any data pack can enjoy High Speed Mobile Broadband at Reduced data charges of 1 paisa/12 KB (less than Rs.1 /MB) w.e.f 1st August 2011. The existing data charges was 1 paisa for 10 KB (Home and Roam).




Apart form the reduction in Base tariff for 3G Data charges, MTNL also Regularized its Promotional offer of UNLIMITED 3G Data Plans (Postpaid & Prepaid) of Rs.1650 and Rs.4500 for its subscribers in Delhi circle w.e.f. 2nd August, 2011.

MTNL is only 3G service provider in India offering Truly Unlimited 3G data Plans without any data or speed cap. In January, 2011 the operator introduced “Advance Rental Unlimited 3G Data Plan” and with the Plan-4500 further extended till August. The effective cost of Unlimited 3G Data Downloads will be as low as Rs. 750/month as we shared on TelecomTalk.

The promotional 3G Data plan for Rs. 4500 comes with the validity of 180 days and provide Unlimited Free High Speed wireless Broadband 24×7 anywhere in India (Home and Roam).
