For new landline connection booked through Social media platforms Facebook and Twitter, registration charges and installation charges are waived off. Customers will also get one free BSNL SIM card with 50MB data usage. For new broadband bookings on Social media platforms, booking registration charges and installation charges are waived off. Customers will also receive Rs.100 cashback on modem charges for 15 months on broadband plans with monthly charges of Rs.700 and above.

It is good to see BSNL has finally decided to use Social media platforms for promoting its services. However, only handful of BSNL circles has an active Social media presence.
